TWO RIVERS

To the winds of time

I now release the past.

All that I have been

to those eternal winds I cast.

Who I am now

is a river running free.

Two rivers merge as one;

my Beloved flows with me.

THE MUSICIAN & THE DANCER

His soul speaks to her

Of the life-breath of music;

Her soul speaks to him

Of the joy of the dance.

Together they are one.

There can be no separation,

They are two halves of one.

In this precious moment

They are complete,

For the dancer hears the drum beat

And the drummer feels the dance.

Together they are one.

That is all there is, this moment,

This union of music and dance.

Two hearts beat

to the rhythm of the drum.

Two lives entwine,

The dance has begun.

Together they are one.
